Yarra Valley Media was founded by Healesville local Zach Kennedy to turn a lifelong passion for videography, photography, writing, graphic design and editing into a business that genuinely supports local people.
After working as a labourer across multiple industries, Zach saw firsthand how many hardworking trades and small business owners struggled to market themselves — not because they lacked quality, but because they lacked the time, tools and experience to do it properly. Helping past employers and volunteer organisations showed just how much of a difference strong, honest marketing could make.
What Inspired Yarra Valley Media
Through years of hands-on work and volunteering, it became clear that Zach’s strongest skills weren’t on the tools, but behind the camera. Seeing businesses grow from simple, well-executed content confirmed that media was where he could make the biggest impact. Yarra Valley Media was created to help local businesses be seen the way they deserve.

I built Yarra Valley Media on personal relationships, integrity and affordability. I’m not here to sell gimmicks or short-term hype, I focus on long-term results and genuine trust with local business owners. Inspired by strong local values, integrity always comes before profit, and every project is approached with care and accountability.
Zach sets a high standard for his work and goes above and beyond for his clients. Success is measured by results, and the goal is simple: to ensure every client’s investment delivers real value.
Who’s Behind the Brand
Yarra Valley Media was started by Zach Kennedy, born at Healesville Hospital and educated at both Healesville Primary and High School. From a young age, Zach’s creative abilities were recognised — his writing was shared school-wide, his graphic design work appeared in magazines such as Empire, and he ran successful YouTube channels during his early teens.
Zach was awarded the VCE Media Award in high school and later worked across industries including carpentry, farming and nursery work. Alongside this, he continued developing his creative skills through writing, filmmaking and volunteer media work. After achieving strong results for others in 2025, he was encouraged to turn those skills into a business — and Yarra Valley Media was born.

Yarra Valley Media primarily services the Yarra Valley region, with additional work available throughout Melbourne and the Murrindindi Shire. Travel outside the local area can be arranged, with travel rates applied where necessary.
What I Love Most
I love the entire process — filming, editing and building a vision from scratch. But most of all, I love helping business owners see their work presented professionally and authentically.
